WORSHIP AT MT. VERNON
WHO WE ARE
The Worship Team at Mount Vernon is a family of volunteer musicians and technicians from different backgrounds, representing a wide variety of ministry experiences. We love getting to make much of Jesus together through music and technology. We rehearse and lead worship services weekly as well as for special ministry events.
We believe that each area of ministry and service at Mount Vernon begins with and thrives on real, growing relationships within a loving community of people. The people on this team genuinely love each other and love serving and growing together!
Our pursuit together is worshipping God through the praise of our lips and the love of our actions, while intentionally becoming more fully devoted followers of Jesus in the day by day, moment by moment journey of life.
For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
